Line & Wrinkle Relaxing Injections
Over time continued frowning, smiling and squinting can cause fine to moderate lines to appear around the eyes and on the forehead.
To overcome this muscle relaxing injections may be administered to the areas of concern to temporarily relax the muscles giving a more smoother refined appearance.
A treatment of this kind usually takes around 30 minutes and can last anything from 3 to 4 months.
Dermal Fillers
Once injected dermal fillers can give instant volume to the lips and soften lines (nasolabial and marionette lines) around the mouth. As a form of hyaluronic acid the dermal filler holds water naturally, volumising the skin and smoothing lines and wrinkles.
The dermal filler is non-permanent with effects lasting anything up to 6 months dependant on the individual and the area treated.
Treatment time is usually 30-40 minutes and an anaesthetic cream or injection (Dental Block) may be given beforehand to minimise any discomfort.
Restoring Facial Volume via Injection
For those patients who have lost volume and plumpness in their cheeks and lower face an injectable treatment may be used to stimulate the body's own collagen production. The treatment restores lost facial volume helping to smooth deep lines and wrinkles.
This treatment differs from a dermal filler as it gives a more long term effect with results lasting anything from 2 - 3 years.
Treatment time is usually 30-45 minutes and it may require 3-4 treatments, at monthly intervals, to achieve the desired effect. An anaesthetic cream may be given beforehand to minimise any discomfort.
